Whole-Person Wellness Screening Event-60+

Did you know that hearing loss is one of the largest risk factors for cognitive decline or dementia? We are bringing whole-person wellness screenings to older adults to discuss and take a look at several of the risk factors and provide insight to what they may wish to focus on to improve their brain health.
During this insightful conversation you will:
- Have the opportunity to learn about your body composition metrics, screen for cognitive changes and depression, and importance about brain health.
- Set Individualized Goals
- Develop a Whole-Person Wellness Plan
- Speak to a Registered Nurse about your overall wellness & barriers you face.
- Get connected to resources in YOUR community that can support your wellness goals
- Influence programming in YOUR community !
Help shape the next generation of nurses, nursing students from the University of Minnesota are key members of the screening team. This is not meant to replace a doctor’s visit, there is minimal overlap however, in your 60-minute wellness screening appointment you will have a thoughtful discussion about your wellness, what brings you joy, and what is next in your wellness journey.
ASL Interpreters will be present. Appointments are required. To schedule your appointment visit: https://form.jotform.com/fcnntc/schedulelyngASL
